History

The precursor to Ker-Soft was founded in 1992 with the aim to facilitate the use of IT assets of growing complexity for the customers. As a first assignment Ker-Soft distributed CA’s Clipper developer product and supported developers.

The company, gradually faced with a greater number of complex tasks was urged to take on with more professionals thus providing further technical expertise. In respose to growing customers needs, Ker-Soft developed its IT expert team.

Similarly, we have built partnerships with the world’s leading IT suppliers -enriching our competency in solutions and products of Microsoft, CA.

Ker-Soft has over ten year's experience in implementation, operation and managing of IT systems, having outstanding skills in HelpDesk systems and operation, enables the company to support as huge IT systems as local transport companies, pharmaceutical companies, the Hungarian Post Co.

For several large firms in the Hungarian market, Ker-Soft continues to participate in the designing system management representing various products of leading manufacturers (CA, IBM, MS, formcraft [former: Beta Systems Software AG].

Based on the belief that having thorough IT knowledge and the routine with our customers we start to implement integrated business solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Sensing new market demands we set up the knowledge and competency in content management. We officially represent formcraft, - cutting edge content management system - in the CEE region.

We become distributor of Quest Software products fucusing Window Management products that help the operation of Microsoft infrastructure.

1992-1996 Kerorg-Soft

Kerorg-Soft – our initial company supporting approx. 1000 software developers with different developer tools.

1996

Ker-Soft is founded. First activities are distribution, support and training of Computer Association – Clipper developer products.

• Hosting Technicon’96 conference for developers.
• Partnership for Computer Associates System Management Solutions.

1997

Ker-Soft becomes a Microsoft Certified Partner. (Microsoft Certified Solution Provider and Microsoft Developer Dealer.) Exclusively supports developer firms, with Microsoft Visual Studio.

1998

Expos:

• IFABO’98, main area: system management (CA-Unicenter)
• Compfair’98 joint with Microsoft - representing Visual Studio, MSDN

1999

Several System management projects implemented and launched: monitoring over a 1000 desktops, networks, and servers.
Software audit for 80 investment service provider companies. Statutory compliance review of securities applications written in different programming languages under various operating systems within an extremely short period of time.

2000

Custom applications for media. Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? - TV show launched.
Infrastructure design, Microsoft migration and operation of IT systems for Local Transport Co. of Budapest.

2001

Implementing the biggest system management solution for Hungarian Post Co – monitoring over 10 000 desktops, integrated with network monitoring, HelpDesk, and server management.

2002

Further system management projects covering significant Hungarian companies – Local Transport Co. of Budapest, National Communications Authority, Biogal Pharmaceutical Company (now: TEVA).

2003

Test the Nation: The National IQ Test series on RTL TV channel launched – IT background was provided by Ker-Soft.

2004

Help desk implementations and support at CIB Bank, and TVK Chemical Co.
Development of a learning application for obtaining driving licence named TestMaster. Ker-Soft launched a standard software product out of the individual application. Additionally the product is extended with an exam modul for the use of transport companies.

2005

Design and implementation of system monitoring and server operation support at Volánbusz Transporting Co.

2006

Implementation of CRM system at Ker-Soft. Customization of CRM system at Adverticum Close Inc. Co.
Involved in public procurement of CA antivirus softwares.

2007

Our portfolio of solution enriched with Betasystems and IBM products - partnerships with Betasystems and IBM established.

2008

Implementation of CA Unicenter at Volksbank. CRM solution at a publishing and advertising company. Implementation of document management system at Budapest Transport Co. and Allianz Insurance Co. IT consulting for Budapest Airport Co – resulting the reorganization of IT function. Assessment of smart card options for Hungarian Post Co.

2009

First implementation of CA SD r12 in Hungary at Net 54 Ltd. CA Service Desk 6.0 upgrade for r12 at Central Statistical Office. AD and Exchange migration for AXA Bank.

2010

Service Desk pilot project at an energy provider company. First implementation of Microsoft’s System Center Service Manager application in Hungary.
Implementation of a restore solution for a Hungarian bank based on CA ARCserve software.
Document Management solution at a leading energy provider company for managing incoming invoices – implementation of FrontCollect Invoice integrated with SAP.
Ker-Soft is Authorised Reseller of IBM Rational products.
